Library

The Law College library provides students with extensive facilities to maximize their knowledge in the field of law. It is probably the most frequented section of the college, and most certainly a haven for dedicated law students.

The students can avail of library facilities from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Timing is extended at the time of examinations. For easy and prompt access, all books are catalogued manually as well as on the computer.

The Demonstration Moot Court

The Moot Court Association commences its activities every academic year with the Demonstration Moot Court. This moot is held in order to acquaint the Freshers with the process of Mooting. As per tradition, this Moot is judged by a panel of judges which comprises of ex-students who have been established Mooters and two experienced mooters of the final year participate in this moot.

Computer Lab

The Law School has a full-fledged computer Lab, which provides the students with all important and updated databases. A separate Lab Instructor is appointed in order to facilitate the use of the computer lab. The institute from time to time organizes various training programs for use of the databases.

Use of Information Technology in the learning process: The Law School has full fledged Computer Lab, free access to internet facility along with online legal databases like Manupatra, SCC Online, WestLaw, and LexisNexis. These databases are used by teachers and students for research for projects, moot courts and other academic activities.

Legal Aid Centre

The establishment of Legal Aid Centre seeks to impart Clinical Legal Education and social-legal services to the needy and poor segments of the community. It is necessary to expose law students to the practical aspects of the legal field as study of law is a professional course; the Legal Aid Centre aims at fulfilling this purpose and alongside provides a platform to serve the poor and needy.
